In her own words, she describes herself as just a little person trying to make it in such a huge world with so many other people. Let's meet Priscilla!
Why did you throw out your makeup?
I threw my makeup out because it expired; I stopped wearing it years ago, when I was 16. The cause of my "makeuplessness" was a complete accident. I went to the beach one morning before school, stayed too long, had no time to put anything on my face, and never wore it again.
What music are you listening to right now?
I listen to a lot of jazz, blues, and folk music.
Three things you wish to learn/master:
Fearlessness, confidence, patience
Favorite form of exercise:
Who are your fashion icons?
Mike Damone, actually. And the stereotyped Beat generation.
Who is your role model? Why?
My role models are my parents. They have an amazing relationship, and have been married for over 20 years. My dad is quiet, wise, patient, and humble. He's an incredibly respectable person. My mom is energetic and really gets sh*t done. She loves people, and they love her right back. They're both honest, open, communicative people. I really look up to them a lot.
What's your relationship with fashion?
It's a compulsion for me. So many people think of creatives as poets, photographers, painters, sculptors, musicians, etc., but for me it's clothing ( ... and photography). I'm hoping to get into the fashion business as a stylist/photographer, and I'd love to open up my own online business in the meantime selling curated secondhand clothing.
What is the sexiest quality in women?
When they do what they do for themselves out of passion, sheer enjoyment, and self-love. I guess you could say a carefree sort of nature.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received and from whom?
Let go and stop giving a shit. I think that one was from one of my parents. Or maybe it was one of my professors. Maybe all of them? I don't know.
